Mission Log: Reginald Mental (that’s me), Capt. Ok this was different. Apparently I needed to capture a spy that was working undercover in my agent’s office. So the agent had an idea where he would go so I was sent there and pretended to be a simple miner. And what rat can’t resister a defenseless miner. This belt was a definite find, it contained Omber. That not easy to find in this area of space. So I think I going to enjoy this a lot. After I started jet mining the spy showed up. Took a bit of work but his ship finally blew up so it was just a matter of picking him up and taking him in. But if I go now I may not find this spot again. So I mined out the ore into a series of jet cans, and then programmed the location of the cans into the computer. Took back the spy to my agent and collected the reward. Did not get the bonus because I took too long, but that’s ok the mining will more than cover it.

- Mining in lower security space (0.8 and lower) tends to attract NPC rats, so be ready. Any mining tends to attract player rats (or as I call them prats) so always be on guard.
- Destroying the ship will cause the spy to be jettisoned in a cargo container, just pick him up and hold him in your ship cargohold, or drop him off in your hanger. But wait before going to your agent.
- Ore is available in certain regions or in certain security levels Omber is not normally found in Caldair space. But before you think of selling it. I will warn you now you will need it for the nest mission. Go ahead and mine as much of it as you can even pass up the time bonus with your agent, trust me you will make it up
- Bookmarking wreaks and jet cans lets you come back to a spot after you talk to you agent. Once you finish a mission the stuff involved in the mission (acceleration gates, belts, collidable objects etc…) will disappear. This can make retrieving stuff easier, but you cannot gain/mine any more stuff. Take advantage of a good thing if you can, then see your agent to make recovery easier
